And...now, thanks again Jean, I'm currently going through the comments to remove them from those too. At this point I'm about half through them, 610 comments is a lot!, and will finish them as soon as I can. These are all do to changing hosts about a month ago and having to bring the database over from the old one to the new one. Comments (1) May 24th 2006 13:23 (becca) It's nice to see people joining and posting! At this writing we have 15 members, most of which have posted stories. We do have a couple glitches in the application. One is that when you choose edit to edit a chapter, it comes up saying 'delete' at the top, but is still in edit mode. It's vice versa on the delete. I've tried to figure out how to fix it, but I don't want to goof much with the coding til I make sure of where it's at so I don't ruin the application. The second glitch is that it does not bring the original text in when in edit mode. You will have to make the corrections in whatever program you wrote it in and re-upload the chapter. It's an inconvenience for some, I know, but can be lived with. This is one of the reasons that we insisted that you must keep your own backups of your stories. If you want a specific image or section, just let naiad or myself know and we can set it up for you. Comments (0) March 23rd 2006 08:58 (becca) It seems as though the fanfic site is up and running, just a couple of noticeable glitches in it, but they are nothing we can't work around. If you have any problems, just let me know. I'll poke around the scripter's forum a bit to see if there's a fix for them. Comments (0)
